Work-related informal learning: Perspectives from Labour and Adult Education
L’apprentissage informel en milieu de travail : Perspectives du marché du travail et de l’éducation des adultes
The pre-conference session will explore issues related to informal learning from an adult education and labour perspective. This event will be discussion-based using small groups and a panel of three experts. The panelists are Johanne Barette representing a Fancophone perspective, Lydia Dixon representing education and Tamara Levine representing labour. The workshop will begin at 9:00 am and run until 2:00 pm. It includes a presentation and discussion of the CCL report Work-related Informal Learning with participation from the Work and Learning Knowledge Centre.
This pre-conference workshop is an event sponsored by the Adult and Workplace Learning Education Research Unit, Faculty of Education with the Canadian Association for the Study of Adult Education in partnership with the Canadian Labour Congress and the Work and Learning Knowledge Centre, Canadian Council on Learning.
